This film doesn't need a review - at least not now (look at the box office). I will probably revisit this eleven-year experiment that spans multiple characters, movies and brings a satisfying and bitter-sweet ending for those that have been along for the ride when it comes out on blu-ray. I want to dissect each of the storylines, the balancing act the Russos pulled off and what it means for the MCU going forward but for now I will say:
It has a heart on top of the spectacle, and it has heart pumping action with jaw-dropping visual effects. Fantastic acting from the veterans and many of whom were finally given room (it is 3hrs) to explore what they have lost, willingly or taken by the life of superhero they chose. I could see people around choking up, people cheering, laughing and simply having an unadulterated fun time (I'll never get clapping at a screen, but happy that they got that moment). If you are a casual fan, normal fan, or a mega fan - Endgame is everything you were hoping for as a follow up to Infinity War and the conclusion of this eleven-year ride. Let's see what happens next.
